Eye exam

My health insurance called me up a couple weeks ago and told me I needed to have a diabetic eye exam, and that my health insurance covered it. Turns out my in-network provider is a nice place I am familiar with because my mom went there: Williams Eye Institute My mom had cataract surgery there. The doc said he didn't see any problems with my eyes (good news!) but I did mention that my eyes are red and sore all the time and they seem dry, especially when I sleep. He said they have a new machine available toward the end of May which will analyze the chemical components of one's tears to aid in treatment. I also found out an eye exam (for glasses) only costs $45. Wow, reasonable. The doc gave me some eye drops to try, since I seem to have such a problem with them making my eyes even redder, and I made an appointment for next month. My glasses are another story....no-line progressives, always pricey. But my hubby will be here, and he can help me pick my frames. yay! 10 days. My hubby is happy, relaxed and packed lol
